Tariq Alshahrani was a Research Specialist at the Center for Complex Engineering Systems (CCES) at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) until March 2024. Graduated in 2017 from Alfaisal University (College of Engineering) with first honors in Architectural Engineering During his years at the University Tariq has developed interests in the Built Environment and Building Technologies, as well as Energy Systems and Environmental Systems. Since joining CCES, Tariq has been working on two projects: Urban Water Modelling and Analyzing Changing Climate Across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula and Associated Impacts on Urban Environments.
